Oktober9 aka Collinsworth is a man of various talents that includes graphic art/design, watercolor painting, creative writing, videography, photography, and writing, recording, and performing hip-hop music. From humble Lynchburg, Virginia beginnings in 1993 he eventually created his first rap group iLL Dialect in 1996, with Oxen Johnson (of Luggage) and Slo-Gully. Other collaborations and groups include: L-Burgers (with Mic Larry), Kamaflage Lodge (with Devious Kanevil and Mic Larry), Wolfgang Twain (with Byah) which lead to the project The Possession, and Demise (with Golden Gripp, Nina N.I.N.E., and Phyness). Oktober9 linked with Rawsole Records in 2014 (as an emcee, graphic artist, and web designer) and released his most recent solo album Night of the 9th Live. Current projects in the works include 79'ers (with Profound 79), and American Lit (solo album 8 years in the making).
