"Vast melancholy soundscapes alluding to romantic longing, lost in translation." Remember (AKA Jude Frankum) cemented a legacy for himself as one of the pioneers of the burgeoning dreampunk movement and describes as his linage of albums as the ‘cyber tragedy’. Intended to be a sequential narrative of abstract storytelling, the project began its life on the label with the breakthrough success of Route Back Home on london based album Dream Catalogue in 2015. His music has also been featured on labels, Pure Life Records and No Problema Tapes, and has collaborated with fellow dreampunk artists such as HKE, Sangam, AUT2M, t e l e p a t h テレパシー能力者 and w u s o 命. The Remember project has evolved both technically and musically since its inception. Typically known for the use of ambient, drone and downtempo techniques that help evoke images of neon-washed urban landscapes as seen through a romantic lens, Remember has now also begun to incorporate guitar work as of 2018’s ‘The City Is My Friend’. And so the project continues on, exploring new sonic territory with a youthful and open minded curiosity for sound and art, exploring doom metal on the 2020 album Four Shots of Green Stone and moments of breakbeat and rave.
