Ehohroma’s sound is characterized by deep, cloudy, and hypnotic soundscapes, featuring cassette-over-the-field recordings, slow alternations, and repetitive tunes, all combined in a timeless manner. His latest works include Diaspora, released on Same Difference Music on February 10, 2023. This album presents a profound and sorrowful soundscape reflecting themes of separation and isolation. His recent live performance, Shine Through, recorded at To Pikap in Thessaloniki and released through Logarithm Cassette Label on May 27, 2024, takes listeners on a nearly 40-minute journey from darkness to light and back. Ehohroma also hosts a residency show on Stegi Radio, powered by the Onassis Foundation, titled Hapax Legomenon. The show invites listeners to embark on a sonic journey, fostering reflection, healing, and soulful excitement through ambient and noise soundscapes. Later this year, Ehohroma will launch Future Never Comes, an independent record label driven by a commitment to creative exploration and mindful production. The label envisions a space where sound evolves as a reflection of both collective consciousness and individual reverie. As a finite project, it’s an artistic expedition towards an undefined end—a testament that in our music, the future is always elusive.
