Scott Peck in The Road Less Traveled Hailing from the musical multiverse that is Memphis, M.A.D.D. KEYS was always surrounded by music. As a toddler, his parents gifted him a red drum set, a toy piano keyboard, and a toy saxophone to play with. Throughout his life, he has performed from elementary school all the way up to collegiate level in choirs, musicals, symphonic and jazz bands, and free formed groups. Voted Most Musically Inclined in high school, Keys, formerly known as Major Key at the time, began dropping tracks on SoundCloud discussing the emotional depth of his psyche and how he perceived the world. Dropping his first EP, Enthalpy, over tracks he produced and recorded at 17, he showed music listeners that love was lacking not only in his life but across the country. M.A.D.D. KEYS takes his listeners on the journey with him as he discovers himself, how to love himself, and how to love others. With his thoughts of spirituality and communal love, many people called him crazy, many people called him madd.
