Buffalo, New York-born, Ryze Hendricks is a Hip Hop Artist, Actor and Influencer. Born Walter Hendricks III, he tested the waters of the music industry at the young age of 9 years old, but his career did not officially begin until he stepped on stage at a talent show at Kentucky State University. An active student at the time, Hendricks took a chance on himself and his craft as he entered the talent show, and although he failed to emerge victorious, Hendricks came back with another important piece of the puzzle: confirmation. His performance planted the seeds of campus-wide buzz and attraction to his work, which later grew into a tree of anticipation for his first official mixtape “Certified Artist.” “Certified Artist” was released to local acclaim as Hendricks’s popularity surged throughout the Kentucky State campus, eventually leading to other local music opportunities that spread his influence even further.
