God’s Son Sleazus Bhrist is a 24 year-old from Harlem, New York. He grew up on the eastside in the James Weldon Johnson housing project and was incarcerated for gang conspiracy in 2012. Most of his time locked up he spent in the “box” restricted to listening to z100 for 23 hours a day, which he now credits as one of his music influences. Upon release Sleazus decided to take his music career more seriously, recording and releasing a series of music videos which garnered over 100K organic views across Youtube. Just as he started to garner success, he unfortunately endured the untimely passing of his aunt, with whom he had a very close relationship, as well as a near death experience himself the same night. Yet, he remained resilient and decided to channel that energy, solely staying focused on music and developing his sound.
