MiMi is a talented singer, songwriter, and producer, who can also play 8 instruments. She fell in love with music at just 8 years old, learning how to play her first instrument, guitar. She took a natural talent to the instrument, performing in talent shows that range from ages 10-18, however took the crown of them as young as 11. MiMi spent about half of her life in Miami, Florida where she was born. The other half of her life was spent in Las Vegas, Nevada where she chose to make the brave decision to go there on her own in order to continue her musical journey only at age 17. Coming to a new state with not a lot of familiar faces helped MiMi find herself for who she truly is. Her sexuality was something she teetered with throughout the years, until she finally was able to feel comfortable enough to come out as a lesbian woman. MiMi studied music theory while in Vegas for a little bit, but quickly picked up on it causing her to use her own knowledge within her music. MiMi’s music style can range from R&B, hip-pop, pop, and soul. She is known mostly for her breathtaking singing voice and is notorious for the layers of harmonies she puts in her songs. MiMi is still very young, but her skill and artistry speaks volumes about how much she can present to the music world.
