Formed in 2018 by Martin Richardson, Return Trip perform his original compositions and modern arrangements inspired by traditional Spanish music. All sales are donated to charities supporting the alleviation of poverty around the world. 
Spain has a long history of folk music dating back to the Middle Ages, and it's a cherished tradition that’s still very much alive today. The music has been influenced by many different cultures over the centuries, and has inspired musicians across the world. 
The name Return Trip, Ida y Vuelta in Spanish, refers to musical styles that have their roots in Spain, were developed in Central and South America, and then “returned home” to Spain in modified form. Return trip also records music from other parts of the world that are connected to Spanish music.
