The Brooklyn native started his music career by learning and later working with music producer Ayatollah. He quickly garnered vast recognition as one-third member of Brooklyn's Hybrid Hip-Hop group T- Weaponz (Tomorrow’s Weaponz) where he became known for his high energy performances on stage and production skills off. After the group formed, they enlisted Ayatollah for the single, "City of the Gods," followed up by their second single, "Raised in the Slumz," produced by Alchemist, which gained huge underground recognition. Salmz eventually evolved into the group’s official producer. He has shared the stage with Pitbull, Ludacris, Common, Mario, The Roots, Jay-Z, and Kanye West at The Apollo Theater. He has also collaborated with star producers such as Fingazz (40 Glocc /Lil Rob), Hazardous (Nore/Rick Ross), Ayatollah (Mos Def/Guru), The Alchemist (Nas/Mobb Deep), Domingo (KRS-One/Big Pun), PF Cuttin (Action Bronson/Sean Price), SPK (Capone-N-Noreaga), and The Beatnuts (Big Pun/Common). His travels include an itinerary that stretches across the U.S. from Puerto Rico to Mexico with Tony Touch, as well as international performances in Trinidad, Canada, Colombia and Germany. Since then, Salmz has embarked on a successful solo career that extends past music.
