kisaki mercury (real name Tyler Jacobs-Davis) is a Future Funk producer based in Alberta, Canada. Initially started as a passion project based on the likes of other artists such as Desired, ev.exi, Macross 82-99, and many more, the project soon developed into a personalized take on the sounds of Future Funk, French House and many other genres spliced in between. Kisaki showed a heavy interest in DJing from age 12, and received a Numark Mixtrack Pro in 2014. After repeatedly listening to Daft Punk's 'Alive 2007', Kisaki aptly learned rhythms and beat matching, a skill that would eventually translate into music production. After receiving a trial of Ableton with a MIDI keyboard (and years of trying to use it) 2020 hosted the attempt that finally proved successful, and was the year that the 'kisaki mercury' alias was born. Since 2020, Kisaki has worked with the likes of Saturn セーラーサターン, THEUKIYO 浮世, and Neon Japan Records, and isn't planning on slowing down for the future of Future Funk ;) 💙💫 - kisaki 2023
