One of the Northern Territory’s most notable young songwriters, Stevie Jean’s music has captured the minds and hearts of many around Australia. To listen to Stevie’s music, her influences are diverse as they are genre spanning. From The Doors to Lana Del Rey and The Black Keys, Stevie Jean has developed a musical palette that comes born out of a love for strong songwriting and individualism. At just 20 years old, she has supported the likes of Tash Sultana, The Rubens and Ocean Alley, embraced success on national tours with Montaigne and Caiti Baker, all the while charting new successes on record with the release of her debut EP Blame Game and with Tasman Keith on their collaborative EP project, Evenings. A fiery industry favourite, Stevie’s captivating presence as a performer has earned her acclaim on festival stages from The Hills Are Alive to Party In The Paddock and BIGSOUND, not to mention taking home NT Best Live Voice at the National Live Music Awards in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, Stevie Jean was the 30th most played artist on Triple J Unearthed radio, while Blame Game’s lead single ‘December Song’ enjoyed rotation across the board with the national youth broadcaster. Her debut album The Dark was released in 2021 and enjoyed critical acclaim. Newly settled in Melbourne she is set to release new music in 2022.
