Virgo Virgo is a pop, rock, MPB singer-songwriter, artist and producer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her looks and sound reference the classic and the modern. Her first self-titled EP, released in 2018, has been streamed over 70k times on all streaming platforms. The first single, Close to Her, has reached over 60.000 views on YouTube. In June 2021, she released her multilingual single, “Tour”. The song and video were produced and directed by Virgo herself. About the project, AFROPUNK said: "It's no surprise that when we cast our eyes over to Brazil, Virgo Virgo stood out. Her ability to switch between five languages in her new single, Tour, immediately got us curious and we had to sit down and find out more about this phenom from the streets of Rio de Janeiro”. In July 2021, she released her second EP, “Vergine”. She moved from Rio to São Paulo that same year, and since then has been working with brilliant artists of the Brazilian underground club scene, releasing remixed versions of the songs on “Vergine”. In 2023, Virgo Virgo became a co-creator at Converse’s All Star Global Community of Artists.
