Biography

Kadialy Kouyate is a musician-Kora player from Senegal. He has been teaching the Kora at the Soas university of London for the last decade and he has also been involved in countless musical projects both as a collaborator and a session musician. HIGHLIGHTS *2012/2013 - a seven months world tour with the Royal Shakespear Company on a production of Julius Caesar. *2015 Kadialy took part in the remaking of the all-time TV mini-series ROOTS as the Griot, cultural consultant, and a dialect coach. *2015-Woodstock with Afro Celt Sound System (to an audience of 750,000) *European tours, Australia, North America. *BBC Radio and TV appearances DISCOGRAPHY *2005, Small Talk Fimber Bravo from Trinidad *2010, Champions of Africa – specially commissioned for the 2010 World Cup.
