Originally conceptualized by guitarist Julian Suhr, ÆRIES was brought into live shortly after singer Laura Kiddo joined the project in the fall of 2019. Elevated by Lauras captivating vocal lines, Julian´s meticulously crafted guitar riffs quickly grew into full songs and it did not take long for the first single “Waves” to be recorded. After demonstrating his skilful drum performance in the video for the song, Dominik Zester soon was asked to join the band, thus completing ÆRIES right in time before their very first release ever in spring of 2020. After receiving plenty of positive feedback, ÆRIES were asked to join international Progressive Metal juggernaut JINJER during their Macro World Tour 2020. The four musicians celebrated a fantastic debut, opening for JINJER at the locations Sparkassenpark Moenchengladbach, as well as the Backstage Munich convincing fans and critics alike in the process.
