Glenn Bloomfield, professionally known as Bloomfield, is a singer songwriter and guitarist who lives in the small beach town Cabarita, in Australia. His style blends soul, blues and roots with songs that have a sincere and authentic lyric and essence. Audiences have described Bloomfield's voice as having a unique expressiveness and soulful quality. He's been compared to Amos Lee, Paul Simon and Rodriguez. His guitar playing is clever, inventive with an intricate delivery, integrating blues and jazz sensibilities. Bloomfield's new ep, Akin, is arriving at the beginning of 2021. The first single off is ep. Radiance, lands November 6th 2020. Proceeding with two more singles before Christmas. in 2021 Bloomfield released to collaborations, one with Astrl "All She Wants To Do Is Dance, one with Life Is A Myth "Return To". His debut album, Shine, came out March 2020. It features the single with the same name, a vintage soul feel song with a ageless message of striving to celebrate the present moment. The album also features the singles; Fool for You, a playful bluesy pledge for love, and Robbie, a sombre story of sorrowful isolation. 2019, Bloomfield collaborated with producer and friend, jay orient, to blend hiphop beats with jazz feels and form. The songs include Sunday Monday's and Dirty News. Bloomfield also features as a co-writer and instrumentalist with Sally Sa on her album Stuck. They perform regularly in the Northern rivers and southeast Queensland area.
