22-year-old “Sab.” is an indie-pop singer-songwriter born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Sab has loved music for as long as she can remember. Growing up in a musical family, there was always singing and dancing that surrounded her at home. So when she joined the family band, “Ellipsis,” as the youngest member, Sab started off by playing the keys and singing backup vocals. She began to take music and singing more seriously after winning Battle of the Bands with Ellipsis in 2013. Getting to perform in various live events eventually led her to songwriting, composing her first original track at 14. She continued to hone her craft throughout high school, gigging in local fairs and making music with her high school band, “Maple.” Since joining the Ateneo Musicians’ Pool in 2018, Sab has remained immersed in Manila’s flourishing music scene, constantly inspired by all the unique homegrown talents. “Daydream,” Sab’s first release with After The Noon Records, was produced with fellow local artists/musicians LUZE and Ziggy Bareng.
