Biography

Those that long for something above and beyond conventional, orthodox, and ordinary, I present you the opportunity of a lifetime. Time is of essence. Reserve your place in line, it grows longer and longer. Once you have heard this sensational rapper who goes by the name of Ike Dola also known as Dola Ike you would understand. Lend your ears to this spectacular rap artist. Ike Dola is a native of Oakland, California. As far back as he can remember, his father told him stories of his paternal grandfather playing the guitar and harmonica. His father carried on the family love of music as a hired DJ at well-known night clubs and events throughout Oakland and San Francisco Bay area. Growing up, he was exposed to old school, juke joint, blues, jazz, pop, R&B and hip-hop by his mother and father in the home setting. Inspired by these things, he became involved with the Farm Boyz at age 15. One member of this group was Keak Da Sneak, his first cousin. He also did several verses on Keak’s albums Copium and Thizz iz All n Da Do mixtape, which he spits a catchy hook line “tell me how it feels,” that features the late Mac Dre. This unforgotten 16 captivated audiences and fans to want more, thus igniting his passion. Among his accomplishments, Ike did tracks with Mac Dre, Husulah and Jacka of the Mob Figaz, Dru Down, Pretty Black, Mistah Fab, and other big names Bay Area Acts. He has performed in large crowds numbering over 10,000.
