Multi-instrumentalist and French producer, Yodji is known with several successful releases, including a track produced for Rilès ("The Cleaning Lady") and an EP ("Radio Blaster") signed on Chill Masters’s label. The young Parisian composer doesn't stop at a defined musical style. His technical skills and musical knowledge allow him to explore the diversity of the soundscape from different eras . Fascinated by the crossover of different musical movements such as funk, rap, disco and soul in the late 70s, Yodji tries to redefine the French musical production. After finishing his contract with his label (LCA Records), he undertakes in 2019 to carry out his projects independently. It is thus, in self-production and from his room (or rehearsal studio) that Yodji realizes with his friend singer Fairwell, the concept EP "Tone to Town". The influences of the project are inspired by the pop music of the 60s and 70s. The EP is released in September 2020 and is accompanied by a collage video clip, directed by Victor Halfen.
