Out of LA’s South Bay comes a solo artist with a smooth and soulful style all his own. Gonzo (born Ryan Gonzalez) blends a wide variety of musical influences and love-inspired messages to create a unique sound he refers to as “Roots-Reggae-Soul.” His talent extends off-stage as well. He has collaborated and written hit songs with Tribal Seeds, Fortunate Youth, E.N Young, Leilani Wolfgramm, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Sono Vero and more. Gonzo has become widely recognized within the reggae community, achieving an impressive amount of success and respect for a musician still in the young stages of his career. His latest EP 'Round The Clock' premiered at #9 on the Billboard Reggae charts, while his sophmre album, Red released in June 2014, peaked on #6 on the Billboard Reggae charts. All of his albums were produced at Imperial Sound Recording Studio by fellow roots musician E.N Young. Released under E.N’s Roots Musician Records label, all three of his albums reached #1 in the iTunes reggae category and continue to display Gonzo’s talent as an independent artist.
