Biography

CØLIBRI's Electronica is like its totem animal: delicate, full of finesse and hyperactive. He gracefully handles the art of just melody and exuberant arrangements, bridging the gap between electronic dreaminess and classical lyricism. He released his first 6-track EP: "No Rest for the Wicked" at the end of 2019 (Digital & Vinyl). Composed in Montreal, in his film music student room, this first one mixes IDM sounds with several videos. CØLIBRI returns in 2022 with a new electro-orchestral single “Collapses (Remixes)” co-produced with Jordan Lawlor (M83/J. Laser). This track was revealed to the public with a Live Session shot at the Nantes Opera & a 3D music video directed by Hasim Akbaba & Timon Galerneau (Oxmo Puccino). Several artists remixed it as well (Romane Santarelli, Flo/So, i am Sparrow). At the end of 2022, CØLIBRI presents in preview at the Théâtre Plaza in Montreal and at the Stereolux in Nantes its latest Live but also the documentary TASIURTA made in the Inuit village of Kuujjuaq. It will be released in November 2023 in a new EP called “Archipel”. Jérôme works in parallel in various projects on screen or as a producer for French or European artists such as the Eurotoire collective co-financed by the European Union and piloted by the Cypriot label Louvana Records (Louvana Radio).
