Biography

Hanne Kristine Haugsand is singer, performer and musician from Oslo, Norway. She represented Norway in Eurovision Song Contest with the girl band Charmed and performed «My Heart Goes Boom», written by Tore Madsen and Morten Henriksen. The loved Eurovision classic finished at 11’th place in the Eurovision Final in Globen, Stockholm in May of 2000 and is still a floorfiller at Eurovision events. Hanne has later participated in 2006 with the song «Heavens In Your Eyes» written by Kristian Hermansen, and in 2010 with the song «Don’t Stop» written by Mariann Thomassen and Lars-Erik Wesby. In 2006 Hanne and former Charmed-mate Oddrun Valestrand created the band Tundra Mode and released the album «Modus» in 2008. In 2018 she joined forces with singer Malin Hoff Skjolde and Brothers Taiwo and Kehinde Karlsen to create the 70’s disco, funk and soul act Glitzy Groove. Their first single «Boogie Boo» was released in March 2020. These days Hanne is releasing music under the artist name Psykosister and is signed to Sub Culture Records. In 2014 Psykosister released the EP «Mic & Headset» and she appears on compilations such as Absolute Grrrls Manifesto 1 (2013 Alfa Matrix) and Der Eisenberg Sampler - Vol 6 (2015) and Vol 10 (2020). She also features with other electronic acts Kant Kino, SVETT, Crimes AM and Shatoo. Her latest release is a Psykosister feature with Substaat and their cover version of Nitzer Ebbs «Captivate» (2020 Sub Culture Records/Eisenberg Edition Musicale).
