Colin Herbertson has been an electronic music composer for over 30 years and works from a home studio in rural Western Australia. Major musical influences include early Tangerine Dream, Karl Schulz and Edgar Froese. Trained as an electronics technician, he built his own analogue modular synth and uses this in addition to a Korg MS20 both sequenced with an Arturia Beatstep Pro. In addition to hardware instruments, Colin uses many plug ins including Omnisphere, Output Exhale, Output Signal and whole suites of both Steinberg and Native Instruments collections. Recording is purely digital via a Focusright Pro 40 interface into a windows PC running Cubase Pro 10.5.
