Evelina Gard is a Swedish singer, songwriter, producer and arranger residing in Stockholm. Starting at a very young age Evelina has been touring Sweden singing christian contemporary and gospel music - at first with her family, and later on as a solo artist. She first got recognition when releasing her debut album “This is another day” and is now a well-known name on the gospel scene in Scandinavia. An acclaimed singer she has shared stage with renowned Swedish artists like Carola Häggkvist, Samuel Ljungblahd, Frank Ådahl, Gladys Del Pilar and Michael Jeff Johnson, as well as recording backing vocals for superstar Celine Dion among others. Her influences in music stretching from CeCe Winans, Take 6 and Kirk Franklin on one hand to Annie Lennox, Barbra Streisand and John Mayer on the other, her songs - written in both English and her native language Swedish, has a sound of their own - spanning from hymns and up beat gospel to atmospheric pop with inspirational lyrics.
