All the Pretty Little Horses

Biography

Vocal polyphonic ensemble I Cimbali was born in Rome in 2015, from the interest in singing and polyphony shared by a group of professional artists: singers, musicians, dancers, actors, costume designers, set designers and directors. The main objective is to propose vocal music (from the Middle Ages to today) in the form of a show, breaking up and mixing different genres, sounds, styles and languages. The result is an original musical show that crosses time and space and reaches across different audiences. Their study focuses mainly on the search for a unique vocal mixture and a perfect synergy between the voices capable of bringing out the individual timbre peculiarities. I Cimbali work on the selection and arrangement of the musical pieces, the drafting of texts, the choreography, the costumes designed specifically for each performance. From 2015 to today, I Cimbali have participated in various national music and theater festivals and boast performances in prestigious places such as the Fossanova Abbey, Palazzo Brancaccio and Teatro Eliseo in Rome, as well as important collaborations with institutions, such as: Region Lazio, PinDoc, ATCL Lazio, AEM Danza. On November 11, 2020 I Cimbali released the first music cover on Spofity. Last release on May, 7 - I Cimbali (produced by Marco Ciardo & Yari Molinari): "All the pretty little horses".
