Jennie Lawless is an artist based in Los Angeles, California, where they make music, paintings, and poems. They grew up twenty miles northwest of Chicago in a strip-mall studded town in Illinois. Jennie’s forthcoming record, Moody Age (set to be released Summer 2024 and co-produced by hip hop artist Will Ward of W2), is an attempt to talk to shadows. Shifting from the keys and learning guitar as a late bloomer, Jennie has approached a rawness never before exposed in their recordings.
