YOKAI is an Electro/Gothic musician from the KodamaSounds circle inspired by the electronic scene and videogames music. Influenced by the composition of videogames composer Keiichi Okabe and Michiru Yamane, the roots can be found in the Japanese Pop culture but also in the traditional Japanese music. In fact, a lots of songs use tradionnal instruments like the Shamisen, the Koto and the Shakuhachi. Creating emotional and sensitive pieces, epic/Gothic orchestrations and dark sounds are also representative of the singular YOKAI identity. Thereby, the music evoke a cinematographic atmosphere. Moreover, YOKAI is building a real universe with characters and a unique story. In this fantasy and cyberpunk world.
