Vig Zartman is an Austrian-Armenian award-winning composer, music producer and songwriter. His versatility allows him to diversify his creative work from film and TV music, songs to contemporary classical compositions. Vig’s signature style is very much a fusion of his vast musical experiences in all disciplines across all genres and brings a fresh and very welcome approach to contemporary feature film music. Vig Zartman is very well known not only in the Austrian, but in modern international cultural scene and his great contributions are undeniably shaping the field of contemporary music: his music and productions have been performed on globally renowned stages such as the Vienna Musikverein, Brucknerhaus Linz, Mariinsky Theatre St. Petersburg, Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall, resulting in standing ovations and sold-out performances. His monumental work „God Bless Armenia“ big orchestral & chorus music has been performed by 1144 musicians on one stage during celebration of 25th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Armenia, attended by high officials and praised by national and international media and critics. Along with participating and winning various prizes and awards in Armenia, Poland, USA und Austria, such as “Pop composer of the year, 2005”, “Film composer of the year 2014 & 2016”. In 2016 Vig was honored by the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia with the the Komitas Medal of Honour.
