Emerging artist J-Stuy has been honing his skills as a lyricist and artist since childhood. His older brother and sister was rappers with J-Stuy being the youngest, he wanted to be like his siblings , but little did he know he would fall in love with the art of rap and the art of story telling through music and poetry. Growing up in NYC and being from the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn, a lot of Stuy’s influences included people like Biggie smalls, Jay-Z and Nas but he also admired and studied artist like J.cole, Lauryn Hill, Chris Brown, Andre 3000 and many more. Stuy has developed a small but supportive fan base over the years thanks to he and his friends YouTube Channel called D.O.R TV. Stuy’s plan is to show his kid and other people’s kids and even people his age that dreams really do come true, you don’t have to be tied to your reality. Only he always says dreams over reality.
