Born into a family rich in musical appreciation, Bucc$ (Born Terrence M. Doyle, Jr.) was all but pushed into a life of performing. As a child his father, a one time saxophone player and R&B singer, exposed him to various genres of music raging from 70’s rock to jazz. He attended the Paseo Academy, where he majored in music and during this time the idea of being a rapper manifested. After high school, he and a very good friend of his were approached by James Christos, with the idea and opportunity to be a duo on the label. They agreed but unfortunately a later difference in creativity would cause the group to separate from Equator Recordings. From that point he carried on with life but all the while falling deeper in love with hip-hop. In 05', after expressing his love for hip hop and admitting to being able to “write rhymes” he & four co-workers with whom he quickly formed a bond. They got together and that year released a mixtape “Stix & Stonez”. The response to this project is what made him decide to take being an artist serious. However soon after that project was released, they parted ways. From there he began performing in various venues around KC. It was during a 06' performance at The Hurricane where he was noticed by Big Frame, a high school friend of his, who would later pick him up as his newest artist. Which introduced him to The True Spittaz Click. In 08', “Spit Starz Vol.1” was released. Which introduced him to the scene in a new way.
