Gabrielle is a six- and 3/4-year-old girl with a vibrant and curious personality. She enjoys singing, dancing, playing pretend, and going on nature walks with her friends Elmo, Abby, and Rosita and her cousin Tamir. Gabrielle loves animals, especially her fluffy gray and mischievous pet bunny named Harriet. Her favorite foods are pizza and sautéed spinach with lots of garlic. Gabrielle lives in an apartment on Sesame Street with her mother, father, and grandparents, and is especially close with her grandmother--they love to cook and make family recipes together! In school, Gabrielle’s favorite classes are Music and English, where she writes rhyming poems that she likes to weave into everyday activities with her friends and family. Gabrielle is great at giving herself words of encouragement and motivation whenever she has a hard time learning something new or facing a fear, saying, “You got this Gabrielle!” An only child, Gabrielle is very close to her cousin Tamir, who lives in the same apartment building. Together, the cousins are part of Sesame Street’s Power of We club – an affinity group designed to support its members through discussions about their feelings around racism and various self-care and arts activities. It is called the Power of We club because together we all have the power to make things better!
