Chans Thomas is a Houston native singer/songwriter with a unique approach to the Christian music genre. Influenced by the styles of gospel, neosoul, hip hop and jazz, she discovered her niche to be a fusion of those sounds with content inspired by her faith. Chans had her first professional opportunity to sing with the Stellar Awards Youth Choir at the age of 14, and went on to perform in musicals, gospel groups, and The Motown Revue. She served as worship leader for several years, and also had the pleasure to lead worship for the 2018 Legacy Conference in Houston, Texas. Chans is now a solo artist with a mission to creatively communicate Christ to the culture. From churches to cafes and lounges, Chans believes all platforms can be used to make Christ known and yet be culturally relevant. Chans is currently working on her debut EP along with Live Out Loud band named, "The Cultured Christ", a Christian neosoul jazz fusion project.
