While currently focusing on classical composition, Matt Schwarz's background includes performing in original heavy metal and prog bands, traditional British/Irish folk music, and in an orchestra. His main instruments are Celtic harp, electric/acoustic guitars, and flute. He tries to mix his heavy metal, classical, folk elements in whichever genre he is working in.
