Systur are Sigga, Beta and Elín, three sisters from Iceland. Coming from a family of local music royalty and after performing house music all over Europe under the name Sísý Ey, the sisters weren't sure if making music together was what they wanted. Through a random twist of fate, they ended up representing Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022, an experience that helped them realise that the only way forward was through music, side by side with their sisters. Citing influences from '60s folk to modern indie, classic Americana to singer-songwriters - Systur's music is soulful and substantial, presenting poetic lyrics through heartwarming harmonies and masterful melodies. Systur are currently working on their debut LP, set to be released late 2023.
