Fernando Ribeiro a.k.a Technovinho is a musician, DJ, music producer and event promoter based in Porto Alegre - RS. He took his first steps as a DJ at 12 with a family member who was a break dj in the 90s. Since then he worked at a lots of parties and nightclubs in his city until the creation of Coletivo Plano, group that he is a founder and active-member. The group is formed by artists who promote the street electronic music scene in Porto Alegre, claiming the use, preservation and security of public space, as well turning the streets into a stage for the most multiple social agendas. Currently his work moves between techno, electro and EBM variables, always mixing with Brazilian funk, preserving acid basslines in minor tones, grooved percussions, marked kicks and snares, like dirty tracks in general. The consolidation of this way of work came through the released works (the 'Pinoquismo EP' and singles in VA's of big brazilian labels like Goma Rec./RS and Fazedores de Som/RJ) and through the dj sets made in parties in Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba.
