Tales of heartbreak, money, and religion fuel 12WELVE’s existence in the ever-changing music industry. Drawing influences from prolific artists like Marilyn Manson, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails, and Yung Lean, 12WELVE crafts a unique world of hopelessness and a lust for vices through his music. His blood brother, DG, complements this vision by bringing the music to life with dark visuals and a palpable sense of loneliness in crowded spaces through his photography and videography. Born Brandon Resendez (12WELVE) and Dustin Resendez (DG), these brothers have been channeling their emotions into their art and music since their early beginnings in 2015, under a different moniker. Their new identity explores industrial sounds fused with the core elements of hip-hop and R&B, evident in tracks like "Fragments" and "Euphoria Interlude." After taking a minor hiatus, they began to unveil their rollout for their fourth studio album, “heaven can wait,” with the lead single “nothing was the same.” This album marks a significant evolution in their sound, incorporating more intricate production techniques and a deeper exploration of personal themes. 12WELVE is dedicated to making this album more personal than ever, inspired by his newfound fiancé and a rekindled passion for creating music.
