Peak Futures is a unique soul music collective brought together by writer-producer Chris Hills in London. As a sideman, co-writer and producer in New York City, Chris worked alongside artists such as St. Lenox and Motopony as well as collaborating closely with Pauli the PSM (drummer for FKA Twigs, Damon Albarn), whose distinctive grooves give much of the record its momentum. With a wide roster of collaborators from all corners of the music world including Sara De Santis (Kindness, Sundara Karma) on keys, Tom Marsh (Lana Del Rey, also on drums), and instrumentalists from 12 Ensemble, Peak Futures cut a sonic path that is deeply individual while paying heed to '70s soul songcraft.
