I am an English literature professor by day and a songwriter by compulsion. I'm grateful to work and play on the unceded traditional territory of the Lheidl T'enneh First Nation in central British Columbia, Canada. As a lyricist, I've learned a lot from the great poets whose work I study , teach, and write about, including Blake, Byron, Keats, Wordsworth, John Buchan, and Grahame Davies. My music spans genres from folk to rock (which is really just folk music writ exuberantly loud). When not working on solo projects, I enjoy collaborating with multi-instrumentalist and electric guitar virtuoso Mike Bon Jorno, who lives and makes music in Wiesbaden, Germany. I'm currently working on my seventh solo album and my third collaborative album with Bon Jorno, while also busily writing my eighth book.
