Biography

Owen Radford is a singer-songwriter from Dayton, Ohio. After writing various songs throughout highschool and his early college days, he released his debut EP “The December Demos EP” in early 2019. Following that was a trio of lo-fi piano-led albums and an EP, released between 2019 and 2020. In summer 2021, Radford returned with the new single “Harriet Swings It” which featured a fuller sound, and in 2022, Owen Radford signed to Robo Jack Records, releasing the double a-side single “In The Snow + Concrete Zoo” in May, but parted ways with the label the following year. After a brief hiatus, he returned in early 2024 with the single “Balloon” (a collaboration with Atlanta-based rock band Wardrobe Malfunction), and his fourth studio album “The Deep End”, which featured a full-band sound and two distinct halves: the “rad side” comprised of pop songs, and the “mad side” comprised of more experimental sounds. Outside of his solo career, Owen Radford keeps himself busy with various projects. He is the frontman and principle songwriter of the bands Dr. Deceptive and Cruel Smile, as well as the creator of the electronic/plunderphonics project Fly’s Eyes. He was also previously a frequent collaborator with Connecticut-based singer/songwriter Jebb, playing on many of Jebb’s singles as well as co-producing his double album “Space Ship Truth”.
