An island girl with southern roots, Love Moor brings a deliciously eclectic mix of influences to her music. Her warm, raspy vocals sing evocative stories about relationships, sexuality, empowerment, and heartbreak with mature introspection. Love was born in New York and raised in Miami by her Caribbean parents, who laid the foundation for the kind of artist she is today. With her father working as a DJ and her mom who came to America to become a singer, Love was destined for stardom. Her first project Motions, which dropped November2020, was a relatable, vulnerable collection of Love’s emotions, focusing on her feelings of dissociation due to chaotic world events. The project caught national attention and in 2022, Love Moor signed to Human Re Sources. In 2023, Love prepares for the release of a new EP that literally centers on love and all the different aspects of her journey falling in and out of it. Love Moor has recently opened up tours for Durand Bernarr and Gene Noble and supported acts like H.E.R., Tank and the Bangas, Dessa, St.Paul, Broken Bones, R.LUM.R., Amasa Hines, Mega Ran, and Nnamdi Ogbonnaya. For a relatively new act, her past performances are impressive and include SXSW, South sounds, Secret Stages Festival, SLOSS fest, Westobou Music and Arts Festival, and Thacker Mountain Radio Hour, which broadcasts on multiple NPR outlets. Her 2021 feature on Sofar Sounds has also garnered over 350,000 views on YouTube.
