Custard Dream is the brainchild of Cambridge-based artist, writer and remixer Ryan Davies. In 2021 Custard Dream released their original Blue Wave EP through 3Ms Records. The record featured a range of styles covering prog rock, electronic and psychedelic, as well as being accompanied with their remarkable version of 'When The Levee Breaks'. "Incorporates everything from new wave to psychedelia and serves them up as a delicious smorgasbord" - The Midlands Rocks. "A fresh fusion of blues, new wave and electronic styles to create something entirely new" - Plastic Magazine. Since then Custard Dream have embarked on a number of side projects, most notably the most recent remix of Matt Harper's 2023 Collective EP, offering an alternative psychedelic, chilled and rave take on the new wave album.
