Trey, the Stunna aka “The Rap Tom cruise” is a DMV artist coming from Roanoke. Like most, Trey started off making music as a hobby during high-school where he gained a lot of attraction with other up & coming artists. When it came to the music, Trey wanted to be a producer like many of his inspirations such as Kanye West, J. Cole & Travis Scott. However, over time Trey gained the confidence to be his own artist and not limit himself to just producing. After releasing a couple singles on SoundCloud and gaining a lot of traction from his hometown, Trey was ready to take things to the next level by releasing his debut mixtape “NEVER CAPPIN” in 2019. This mixtape was the foundation for Trey’s artistry. It showcased his unique rapping style & beat selection. After taking a hiatus for a couple years, Trey followed up with his second mixtape “NEVER CAPPIN’ II” in summer of 2023. This mixtape was marked as the appetizer before the entrée, which displays the level of confidence Trey has gained as an artist. From 2022 - 2024, He’s been working on his debut album/EP “THE CHRONICLES”which is his most cohesive & consistent project. Trey has came a long way & is ready to take his name to the next level with the debut of this new project. Grabbing inspiration from well known artist such as Baby Keem, EST Gee, CEO Trayle & Baby Drill, this next stage for Trey, the Stunna is not only to show why he is the “Stunna” but instead to showcase why he’s “The Rap Tom Cruise”.
