Hailing from the Midlands, GUINNY is a London based DJ, producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist, fusing her production and high energy DJ sets with all flavours of electronic, whilst staying true to her musician roots, keeping soul & organic grooves at the core. Growing up listening to 70s Disco, Funk&Soul and Jazz, It wasn’t until much later on that she discovered her love for electronic, and started exploring different sounds from around the world. Today, GUINNY stands by one thing in her music- Whatever it is, whenever and wherever it’s from, it’s got to have soul. In the past few years, GUINNY has built a solid reputation for herself on the London scene sharing bills with the likes of: Mr Scruff, Jeremy Underground, Aroop Roy, Kirollus, Todd Terje, Chloe Caillet, Jkriv, Kapote, Cody Currie, Athlete Whippet, Stump Valley, Todd Edwards, Norman Jay, Lil Louis and many more. She has also recently started breaking onto some of Europes most vibrant scenes with gigs in Lisbon, Milan, Rome, Sweden, Budapest, Madrid and Berlin, making her Panorama Bar debut earlier this year. She has also been working the London circuit, playing in some London’s most iconic music institutions, such as: Village Underground, The Jazz Cafe, Electric Brixton, Ministry Of Sound, XOYO, E1, Night Tales & The Royal Albert Hall and has become a regular guest on esteemed vinyl platform ‘My Analogue Journal’.
