A widely popular Malaysian pop R&B singer who first appeared in a compilation from Positive Tone called " Tricks & Tales " and spawned an urban hit with " Soul in me ". Ferhad then released his first debut album called "Tubed" in 2000. A well-received affair, the album featured a blend of pop and smooth R&B. A hit taken from the collection, "Kasih Berubah," led to additional coverage on MTV Asia. His follow-up full-length release was a live affair entitled Soul Alive. In 2003, Ferhad released his third record, Katakan Saja, which -- while popular with fans -- was not as strong a chart presence as his first full-length.
