Christa Ebert performs as Uno Lady, a one-woman ghost choir. Uno Lady loops ambient vocal textures. Reverberating beyond genres, her sound is influenced by minimalism, avant-garde pop, art rock, a cappella, and indie experimental. Her choral compositions are layered with classic doo-wop and jazz vocal styles filtered through experimental techniques. Using her four-octave singing range, she constructs sonic worlds with dream-like vocal layers and looping ethereal tones. Also as a video artist, she creates nature-inspired stop-motion music videos to accompany her compositions.
