Brazilian-born Danann Silvestre and his beyond-borders sound is inspired by A.CHAL and Tribo 808. The half-sung, half-rapped records jump from Portuguese and English. Danann was raised in São Paulo and began rapping after being championed by fellow DJ William ‘Negresco’ Eclipse. He later moved to Europe with his family when he was 13 years old and started making beats in a local youth club. 
 After high-school Danann moved to the US to pursue his dream of becoming a soccer player. Immersed in a lifestyle mirrored by Derek and 6ohnson X, homesickness provoked Danann to reinvent himself through spiritual concepts of growing up in South America, unifying his hard-hitting instrumentals with the tropical lifestyle. 
 The conceptual track-run THEREZA explores his relationship with his late grandmother and features Eoin Dolan and Marina Medina, with production credits by WondaGurl and Rvssian. The tracks are thoroughly ruminative and offer his take on Bossa Nova, Neo-Brazilian Funk, Spiritism Percussions and Hip-Hop. 
 Under the name Dan Jogo, and still in his first full-length project, Danann already combines the heavy Brazilian percussions with unique introspective melodies crafted alongside the Kanye West co-signed LODONI and Pharrell Williams’s engineer Beau Vallis, a versatility recognized worldwide. ~TiVo
