Born in Guatemala and adopted into St. Louis, Missouri in 2001, George Luis Happa is a producer, songwriter, and recording engineer with credits in R&B, pop, and hip-hop. In May of 2017, Hxppa made his debut alongside pop artist Ethan Patrick as a vocalist/producer for the alternative hip-hop duo Empty Society. The duo released several songs with local rising artists such as MILES and Joanna Serenko to local acclaim. In May of 2018, Hxppa self-released his debut solo project String Theory and issued the following Red + White EP in June. In July, he would then appear on Ozone alongside Ethan Patrick, Jake Skinner, and MILES which would amass over 130K plays across various platforms. In August, Hxppa mixed and engineered Dreams, the first of several songs by rapper/singer Jake Skinner. On October 31st, 2018, Hxppa released the full-length concept album Visual Snow, which contains many of his top streamed songs. In 2019, Hxppa would earn both feature credits and production placements on jackwoods' debut LP The Woods and sophomore Architect. Throughout the 2019, Hxppa released four singles as well as mix and engineer two singles by Jake Skinner and No Mistakes by rapper/singer Sanzy. The year also saw a string of performances from the artist alongside acts such as jackwoods & Jonah Roy. In 2020, Hxppa would drop his single MCQ as well as engineer Pull Up & R.D.S., two singles by Jake Skinner. Hxppa issued his sophomore full-length record Faint of Heart on April 20th, 2020.
