Bobby Lava is a post-modern performance artist, house producer, style wizard and music aficionado from Los Angeles California. 
 Also known as Robert Lavander, he has played at many venues around the world. Including Club NL in Amsterdam, Hellraisers in Detroit, Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, Loose Moose in Costa Rica, Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles and countless gigs in his home state of California. He recently had a guest mix on the Inner Sounds radio show and formerly appeared on multiple episodes of AMF radio in Amsterdam. He has opened for artists like Kevin Saunderson, Green Velvet, Amtrak, Gardens of God, Earth Boys, Dateless and DJ Susan to name a few. 
 Bobby runs Cool Contest Records with DJ Xboyfriend which has a heavy roster of rising underground artists and over 50 releases. Along with hosting a Cool Contest radio show on Data Transmission, the pair have thrown many off-kilter events in Southern California including the infamous FIGHT NIGHT warehouse party. 
 Bobby’s productions range from high energy tech house to soulful deep house and he is known for his intricate melodies, infectious basslines and creative sample work.
