Kári Egils is an Icelandic singer/songwriter and pianist. In 2023 he released his critically-acclaimed debut album 'Palm Trees In The Snow' and the following year he received an award that is given to the musician who is considered the most promising in any genre at the Icelandic Music Awards. His brand of melodic pop harks back to some of the great artists of the past, while feeling fresh and modern. Two singles have been released from his upcoming sophomore album, which is set to be a massive leap in quality. He is also a jazz pianist and released his debut jazz album, ‘Óróapúls’ in 2023 - featuring some of Iceland’s best jazz musicians.
