Evamore Music is a purpose driven music industry disruptor, uniting artists to collaborate through tracks and events to uplift, empower and help change the course of cancer. Owned by the global charity, Cancer Awareness Trust, all work created through Evamore Music is grounded in the stories of people with lived experience of cancer. Our ambition is to become the home for artists to unite against cancer, creating funds for and awareness of Cancer Platform. Evamore Music aims to become a hub for artistic expression, providing artists and organisations with a unique opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Cancer Platform, in support of all forms of cancer. Our Founder Evamore Music (previously Evamore Records), was founded by Professor Sir Chris Evans, eminent scientist and biotech entrepreneur and the founder of Cancer Awareness Trust and Cancer Platform. The entity began as a hobby, a way to lay down the music that had been playing in his mind. He brought in friends and collaborators, including some of the world's leading stars from across the world of film and music, moved and humbled by his ambition to tell the stories of people with lived experiences of cancer. The result was a string of independent releases featuring Sinead O’Connor, Cillian Murphy, Ozzy Osbourne, Glenn Close and many more. Realising the appetite of people to support the charity, he turned the seeds of an idea into the music brand he is passionate about building upon today.
