 As the recent winner of Beatport's "Beats In School" competition with Anjuna Beats, Joel mentored with the Anjuna team to fine tune his music which resulted in an official remix for “Sunny Lax”. 
 Being known for his versatility in genres, Joel’s already made a splash in the house world by winning Laidback Luke’s “Rockin’ with the Best” remix competition which introduced Joel to his first shows in the States.
